Being a transplant from Illinois, I am sad to see no one play many card games out here. This is epecially true with euchre.

Mon, November 29, 2004 - 10:17 PMEuchre is a 4 player card game that is somewhat similar to bridge in it's most basic rules. Each 2 player team (vs. the other 2 player team) try to take as many tricks (or books) as they can after trump is determined. It is a very social and fast paced card game.
It's primarily played in the Midwest of the US, Canada and Australia.

You can also find a Euchre game online via Freeverse.com (they have Gamesmith server); it's better than Yahoo. They have Spades, Pitch/Setback, hearts, Crazy Eights, many board games, word games, and a few others. The demos are free.
