I love hearts and spades too. But i really love cribbage.
Also, are there any card-playing get-togethers planned???

Re: Cribbage anyone???
Wed, February 11, 2004 - 8:11 PMMy parents played Cribbage and tried to teach me, but the whole counting/score keeping thing went RIGHT over my head!
I haven't planned anything yet as I've just started Grad school, but anyone else is welcome.

Re: Cribbage anyone???
Thu, February 19, 2004 - 2:06 PMOh my gawd - I *love* cribbage... so much so I almost started a Cribbage-Tribe here. I've found through my on-line playing that it's a much more popular game across the pond in Europe (of course), or in Canada, Australia, & New Zealand.
It's tough finding folks here in the US to play... especially in Southern California.

Re: Cribbage anyone???
Mon, July 3, 2006 - 12:33 PMI am probably too old to be of much interest to most people. But I dearly love to play cribbage. I have played very little since retiring from the U.S. Navy, simply because I can't find anyone who knows how to play. They all say ah! thats old fashioned. I live in San Diego, Ca. in the Mira Mesa area. Are you interested? If so I can be contacted on line at
wboynton@san.rr.com or call 858 693 0055. Thank you. Bill Boynton -

I run SF Games, a twice weekly games group in San Francisco. One of our members has been pushing us to play cribbage lately. He's maybe 28 or 30 years old. It's his favorite game, I believe.
San Diego Craigslist has a games posting. Maybe you should respond to it? Here's the link:

Sun, July 9, 2006 - 4:25 AMOh, though the post says 6/15, the post was actually made a couple days ago, so it looks like they're still recruiting game players.
